MERENGUE COURSE SYLLABUS

This is a Two hour course with a 10 minute break in between. Merengue is a foundation dance - an opening door if you will - to other Latin Dances such as Salsa, Bachata, and Cumbia. Merengue allows students to isolate their footwork while working on their leading and following skills. Any complicated turns and figures done in Salsa or Bachata look and feel so much easier with Merengue. This is because of it's 2-step count that is used to dance it.
