There are no words to describe our gratefulness to your and Veronica's efforts. We are truly lucky to have you and her as our friends. Now we feel as if you both are part of our family. Your unselfish approach and the patience you have shown in teaching us is really commendable...

"Christian is a great dance instructor. He encourages and corrects without degrading you, and is very good at making sure that everyone, no matter what their level, learns something. He can get as technical as you'd like if you like structure and detail, and...

"I just finished a set of private Salsa dance lessons. Christian challenged me and was very patient. I appreciate that he took the time to explain, in detail, why foot, arm, body, head, and hand placement for each move is so important. Several dancing friends have commented on my improved dancing...

"I received private lessons with Christian the instructor. Great teacher. Learned lots of new steps. Improved my dancing. Christian went above and beyond my expectations. Even arranging to have a dance partner for each private lesson. Certainly recommend!!"

Which Type of Dance Lesson is Right for Me? [Other FAQs]

Group Dance Lessons

  Private Dance Lessons

  Special Topic Workshops
Description: These are classes in groups of 4 lessons that are offered on a given day and time of the week. They are organized by levels: beginner, improver, intermediate, advanced. The class
cycles are one hour and a half in length and continue for 4 weeks. No partner is required unless specified.

Size: The size ranges from 16 to 20 students per session. Rotation among partners (unless specified) is recommended.

Pace: The overall lesson pace is kept an at average of the group. The instructors can not go too fast or too slow and we need to make sure that everyone in the group is meeting the learning objectives and requirements in order to move to the next level. Discuss with your instructor if the pace of the class is not the right one for you.

Levels: Students start at beginner level and with each passing cycle (every 4 classes), the intensity and difficulty of the class increases. You can stay taking lessons with us as much as you like. You will learn something new on each cycle.

Prerequisite: None for beginner. For improver, intermediate and advance levels prior dancing experience is required. If you are transferring from another studio, we would like to see your timing as well as your leading / following skills to place you in a class that will continue to challenge you.

Description: These are one-to-one personalized instruction. The student(s) creates his/her own schedule based on his/her dancing goals and availability. Dance lessons can be arranged as often as desired from early mornings to afternoons, evenings, and weekends. No partner is necessary

Size: It is usually just the instructor, assistant (if needed) and the student with his/her partner (if available).

Pace: Because it is individualized instruction, you learn at your own pace which is based on your ability to absorb the techniques and dance steps taught on each session. We will address the student's particular concerns. Comparing to group dance lessons, students that take privates usually move at a faster pace than those taking group dance lesson.

Levels: We will see how much of the foundations steps you know during your first couple of classes. From that point, we will begin to challenge you to reach higher difficulty levels by combining footwork, turns, patterns, and technique.

Prerequisites: None. Some students first try a set of group lessons before going to private dance lessons. Others prefer to start with private lessons to break the ice and then later join an improver, intermediate, or advance classes. Just discuss your dance goals with us to customize your path.

Description: These are elective classes designed to add more flavor to your Latin dancing. The dance workshops are one and a half hour long and are offered from time to time. The subject varies as well. For example, our Sexy Moves in Salsa Dancing is offered once every 2 or 3 months. No partner is required unless specified.

Size: Just as with group lessons, the size ranges between 16 to 20 students. In some classes, dedicated partners are required.

Pace: The overall lesson pace is kept an at average of the group. The instructors can not go too fast or too slow and we need to make sure that everyone in the group is meeting the learning objectives and requirements in order to move to the next level. Discuss with your instructor if the pace of the class is not the right one for you

Levels: There are no levels. We teach different materials every time we re-offer them. Workshops are open to all levels students from beginner to advanced. It is always helpful that the student knows the foundations steps of each dance.

Prerequisites: Foundation steps: Basic step, right turns, cross body lead, frames. We will adjust the intensity of the workshop per student basis. At the beginning, we will review the basic steps and techniques needed to successfully complete the class and from there teach the scheduled material.
