Every month we host Latin Dance Socials at our place or by at each of our student's place to diffuse the beauty of Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Kizomba, and Merengue. Our socials are a great way to meet and greet students from all our classes, network with like minded individuals, find dance partners, practice dance steps, and enjoy a fun evening of dancing!
Socials are Potluck style - just bring anything (food, drinks) to share with the group. We teach a free dance lesson to break the ice and then play a mix of popular Latin Music ranging from Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Kizomba, and Merengue. Don't miss it! They happen every 3rd or 4th Friday of the month. Check our Calendar! or contact us for more details.

We had such a great time at David's last night that his place has been renamed: Club David. He has literally transformed his place into a Salsa Lounge! So we are going to do it again! Another Salsa Social at his place for December 2011. This is our last LAST last Social of the Year. This event will happen on Friday Dec 16th 7pm to 10pm.
This event is free. We just ask that you show up with a little something (food or drink) to share with the group (at least 6 people) We will meet at 7:00pm, teach a free dance lesson at 7:30pm and from there keep the music pumping until 10pm or more. Last time people stayed up dancing until midnight!!! We will mix between Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue, Cumbia, and more. Don't miss it!

David W. one of our dance students just moved into town and he has gracefully offer his new home as a meetup place for our next Salsa Social. This fun event will happen on Friday Nov 18th 7pm to 10pm.

Kizomba is a new rhythm that is huge in Europe, I just took 6 hours of dance training with instructors from Spain, so I will passing down some of the moves that night. It is fun, easy and looks good with a partner! It has some elements of Bachata and Argetine tango - It is not Bachatango. The music is sang in portuguese and it has a nice beat to it. So come and try it! |

This very Saturday June 11th at 6:30pm is my birthday and Latin Dance Factory is also turning 4 years old! Please join us for our annual celebration. We will have food, drinks, dancing and great company. You are welcome to bring anything you like to share with us as well. We will get cake and dance from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Afterwards, you are all invited to continue dancing to live band at Taco Milagro at 2555 Kirby Dr and Westheimer! Greetings all Salseros and Salseras!
This Sunday May 1st we will be holding our monthly Meet and Greet Salsa Social from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This is a great opportunity to dance, mingle, and get new dance moves. Also, as a very special occasion, one of our very own Salsa students - Mr. Herb Fain will be in attendance and has agreed to sponsor the event by catering food and drinks. In case you were not aware, Mr Herb Fain is currently running for Pearland City Council Position #3 with focus to increase public safety, obtain better mobility in Pearland, among other important issues. If you like to meet the candidate, ask him questions, or just show some support, he will be dancing with us. Due that our group is rapidly increasing, Shawn and Veronica from Body Evolution Fitness Center have kindly offered their aerobics gym and sound system to provide a more ample place to dance and enjoy a fun Sunday night before heading to work the very next day =)
