Private Dance Instruction Policy


Although we do offer flexibility in our scheduling, we do require 24 hours notice (individual private dance lesson) or 48 hours notice ("Group Private" dance lesson / "Make it a Date") if a lesson/party needs to be rescheduled. 

Last minute cancellations or no shows will result in loss of partial tuition or booking fee. This means that you may be charged for that lessons at the discretion of the instructor based on your history of priors rescheduling or cancelations and whether a dance assistant was requested.

Please be on time for your scheduled lesson. Students have up to one year from purchase date to redeem all lessons. 

Can You Come to Teach Us At Our Place? 


Yes we can! Especially if you live in Shadow Creek Ranch and areas within 5 miles of it. A small travel fee may apply to places beyond 5 miles radius coverage. This includes areas in Houston, Katy, Sugarland, Clear Lake, Alvin, Pasadena and others. We know that you like to learn and sometimes you have to face obstacles like finding a baby sitter, or being new in town, or simply just wanting to be at the comfort of your own place and surroundings to be able to relax. So don't be shy, just ask us. We are here to help!

What are Private Dance Lessons?


Group Classes are a great way to learn patterns, but there is no substitute for working one-on-one in a private dance lesson with an accomplished instructor to learn the finer points of dancing. Private lessons will greatly improve your dancing skill because they provide students individualized attention on a variety of moves and patterns and focus on techniques and tips that are custom made for the student's needs. The lessons go at your own pace. A log of classes is provided and a video of the summary lesson can be recorded for private reference. No partner is required. Male students with no partner will dance with an assistant instructor. Female students with no partner will dance with the instructor. The lessons are minimum one hour. Additional hours on the same day are available per request. Most classes can be taken from Monday to Sunday from 9am to 10pm.

How Much Does It Cost? 


Prices for the private dance lessons range from $50/hr to $70/hr depending on the number of lessons that you get. This price includes a single student or a couple. In other words, the price is not per person, but per lesson. 
  • First Lesson to try us out: $50 - Save 40% of regular tuition!
  • 2 Lesson Package: $70/each. Total = $140
  • 4 Lesson Package: $65/each. Total = $260
  • *8 Lesson Package: $60/each. Total = $480
  • *12 Lesson Package: $55/each. Total = $660 
Notes:
* Installment options are available when purchasing 8 or 12 private dance lesson packages. 
Early birds save 10% off package when taking their lessons between 9:00am and ending at 4:00pm

How Do I Register for Private Dance Lessons?


There are two easy steps to register / schedule for your private dance lessons:

1. You can either call us directly at 832-413-2623 or fill out our Registration form (Private Dance Lesson section) below.

2. Tell us the number of dance sessions that you would like to get. You can enter your preferred days and times on the comment box at the end of your registration. For example: "I prefer nights on weekdays after 6pm" or "Mondays are my best days" or "We like weekends in the morning" etc.
 
Tip: Check our calendar of classes and events to see which times we have open from week to week.

If you registered online, we will contact you via email or phone as soon as possible to schedule your preferred start date.

Type of Private Dance Lessons 


If you'd like to "Try It Out" before you decide for any private dance lesson plan, your first lesson is only $50.00. Afterwards you can decide which lesson plan best fits your dancing goals.

We offer "Lesson Packages" including 2 to 12 sessions. The rate per lesson goes down with the more lessons that you purchase. It is recommended that you come regularly to stay engaged in your lesson plan. Rates per lesson range from $55/hr to $70/hr depending on the number of sessions that you get.

If you like to organize a private dance lesson for your group of friends (e.g. Birthday parties, Get togethers, Family Reunions, etc) you can also "Build Your Own Group" private dance session. Three couples (or six students) minimum. The rate is negotiable depending on the size of the group. Travel charges may apply if the destination is over 10 miles from our studio. Booking deposit of $30 is required.

For special occasions, we also offer a "Make it a Date" private dance lesson for couples only. During your lesson, we will set the room with candle lights, we will serve you a glass of wine or beer, cheese, and light snacks. We will teach you sexy moves in dancing to be done with your partner and a couple of pictures of dance poses will also be taken and they will be shared with you digitally. Additional  We require at least one week in advanced to prepare for the event. Attire is casual. 21 and up only. A minimum of 48 hours is required before canceling or rescheduling the session. Booking deposit of $30 is required. 

For the dedicated dance students wanting to combine both the benefits of private dance lessons and group lessons, we offer our "Gold Combo" Package. Buy 10 private dance lessons ($600) and get 2 months of group lessons for just $50.00. Total is $650.00. An Installment option is available when purchasing Gold Combo private dance lesson package.

We also offer a private dance lesson just for ladies, one student only - How to Follow Course (in Salsa). The course covers 3 hours of theory, practice, and application of footwork, turns, balance and styling that ladies can use when dancing at the clubs. Learn more.
